North Central Behavioral Health Systems Launches Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Program in Ottawa, Now Accepting Appointments

[Ottawa, IL (December 1, 2023)] – North Central Behavioral Health Systems is excited to announce the launch of its Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) program, an evidence-based treatment method involving the use of FDA-approved medications in addition to behavioral therapies for people struggling with addiction.

The 36th Annual Teen Showcase Youth Conference will take place on Thursday, March 9th at the Illinois Valley Community College Cultural Center.

988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline

In 2020, Congress designated the new 988 phone number to exist as the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. The leading federal agency, SAMHSA, along with the Federal Communications Commission and the Department of Veterans Affairs recently launched the easy-to-remember number to provide support for people experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis.

The Lifeline is a national network consisting of over 200 local, dependent, and state-funded crisis agencies.
